http://quesomanrulz.com/ / http://twitter.com/quesoman - Did you know that the average person boots up their computer 2 times a day and that the average boot time for a Windows Vista PC is 3 minutes? That means you spend 6 minutes a day waiting for your computer to boot up. That's 36.5 hours a year, just waiting for your computer to start; A day and a half! Of course this means that if you were able to shred mere seconds off this 3 minutes you would, in the long run, save yourself enormous amounts of time.

  • @LAHrebirth

    Mad bro?

  • @ElOhElmo you jumped on a youtube tutorial to say shit like that? you sounds like a pussy kid too

  • @Insane360Gamers yes but won't that shorten the life span of your computer, leaving it on when you're not using?

sleep mode power is still going through the system i think hence why it wakes up quicker then hibernation

  • why do you keep saying that it'll increase boot time. I don't wanna increase my boot time D:

  • Hey in regedit i have two "wait to kill service timeout" and one is 20000 and other 5000!Wath to do?

  • dont do the tuneXP part! it messing up ur PC and takes time to boot!

  • @seanmotokx thats 2 cores

  • The "Number of processors" option is for LIMITING the number of cores/processors that Windows uses during boot. Windows will ALWAYS use the maximum number of cores for parallel processing during boot and operation without this setting being checked.

This MYTH has been put up so many times, even by reputable publications, it's become a standard 'smoke and mirrors' speed up trick that some people actually insist they can see a difference, even though no testing has ever shown it to actually work.

  • LMAO you sound like a pu55y kid.

  • but anyway thanks for the video
