I fucking hate these spam accounts. Not only are they using URL shorteners to link to malicious websites, but they're also making duplicate phantom accounts to try and bump up their vote count and get more people to click their links.

Really? So there are a lot of people who register accounts that look suspiciously random like: "asvis3dfs," "ds893sd," etc.

No one's mad at bots. People are mad at the people behind these spammy comments, regardless of how they post them.

I think it's spyware or malware that the person accidently installs on their pc and makes the comments without them knowing, then all the other people with the virus upvote other peoples comments, that's why there's always 11/13 likes on each of them

I always just assumed they were a bunch of lowlifes trying to dupe some poor fool. Do these bots just try brute forcing the passwords for random accounts? There has to be a better method than that.
