Having spent a year or more searching for a bass player, it was after this gig that drummer Skip Undo (Big Pete/Peter Gregory) announced he was leaving. He told me it was because I wanted to move into the area of 'conducted improvisation' but I can't help wonder if he just got fed up with me berating him whenever he fucked up (see start of part 2).

Skip leaving was a blow, but at least he went out on a high! This gig showed how good we were getting. New songs, like 'Jordan's Tits' were still a bit rough in places but the coloured dots pieces were tight as ever.
