I don't know if you've read the instructions on the Aphrogee 2-step treatment, but it also recommends applying the 2-step treatment to your hair at least 24 hours prior to your relaxer. This allows your hair to be coated with the strengthening protein prior to applying the harsh chemical. I've done this a lot and it has definitely been a plus. I also used the C.O.N relaxer and shampoo and conditioner and they are wonderful. I use the oil treatment and gloss as well. The shampoo is sulfate free.
