This is the second video in my "Dispelling the propaganda" series. In this one I debunk the myth that the only black men who fought for the Confederacy were slaves. There is evidence everywhere that free black men chose of their own free will to join the Confederate ranks in the fight for Liberty, but still the union and their henchmen try to cover up this fact in their attempts to discredit and tarnish the name of the Confederacy. I hope my video will do some good in showing just how wrong the union propaganda artists are in their accusations.

  • @ElJibaroBravo "The main factor was taxation without representation."

Sorry but you are wrong the american civil war was fought over states rights. When the south lost the REAL USA fell and the counterfeit USA was born a bastards birth

  • @26yearstoorion Oh... i liked the part where the Queen Elizabeth supported the Confederacy as well.... (Tea Party asside :-p)

  • @ElJibaroBravo You got that right, nice to see intelligent comments without all the haters out there that support closet racism fouling the air...

  • @ElJibaroBravo ya the way i worded it made it sound like i was disagreeing with what you said, but i was actually just sort of adding on to what you said haha.

  • @1cme1 Agreed. Perhaps my answer wasn't clear enough. I was responding to a large grouping of comments I no longer see. I never want to eliminate the horrors of slavery from this discussion. No one ought to enslave anyone else, ever. However, I think history is clear for those who choose to look beyond the Northern revision; the war was fought first and foremost for Southern rights and that encompassed but did not focus on Blacks and slavery. And your comment about the Union was spot on.

  • @ElJibaroBravo just because they were slaves does not mean they didnt fight on their own free will. a lot of people dont realize that there were a lot of slaves who were treated very well by their owners. they're given food, a home, and clothing for their work and they were content with that. injustice did exist, but the union wasnt any more innocent of ot that than the confederates. i know one thing, the south fought side by side with blacks, and they didnt segregate them into other units.

  • As a Philosophy major - but more importantly, a student of History - I acknowledge the facts that are available for anyone to review. The fact that there were an estimated 10,000 Mexicans (not counting Cubans and Puerto Ricans) that fought for the Confederacy eliminates the racism card. No one disputes slavery was a factor. We just know it wasn't the main factor. The main factor was taxation without representation. Don't argue. Study.

  • @GAAwudu my foolish ass didn't have to argue anything, it's your obstinacy in front of this clip that tries to argue. you called me a joker and started personal attacks in the first place, no matter how old or young you might be. You don't like these facts so bullshit like "context" comes up. You grow up and face the truth as it is and nobody will attack you in any way. And, by the way, what was the context in which these pictures were taken. My foolish ass wants to know that, professor

  • @JohnnyCBCS How old are you? So your foolish ass can't argue the case so you make a personal attack. How entirely predictable! Grow up.

  • @GAAwudu Edgerton is only one example. Joker is your mom for giving birth to your ignorant ass, and the CONTEXT in which she did so is also a joke. No point arguing with idiots like you, if the clip doesn't match your reality, don't watch it. The context gets a lot better once you shut up
