Visit http://stirlingbuilder.com/ for more details and instructions about building your own Stirling engine. This is my first Stirling Engine. After a little tweaking and a good heat source, it will now run without ice. The liquid wax candle comes from a restaurant supply store. It says it will burn for up to 24 hours. So with this candle the Stirling Engine will probably run until something breaks!

  • How can we modify the above 1 into a two piston type stirling engine....can u plzz help me...

In the two piston type stirling engine,is it necessary to design the volumes of cool and hot cylinder same?

  • @santu398 Take a look at my YouTube channel page (by clicking on my user name) and you will see several videos of my 2 cylinder Stirling engine. The plans are due to be published in a new book in just a few weeks.

  • can you make a propeller on it like a air blower?

  • @ipadize Yes! If you look at my other videos you will see a pop can engine with a fan. It allows the engine to run with no ice.

  • So I need to put the coin on the flywheel so that it could lift the piston when the disc rolls? Thank you

  • @Donciulis You are trying to balance, not necessarily lift. The coin is a counterbalance for the weight of the displacer piston.
