"Somebody once asked me, 'What's so great about hiking through fields hunting birds?' I'll tell you, the worst day out here beats the best day indoors," says pro shooter Doug Koenig. Whether you're planning a trip afield or if you're just getting started in shooting, you'll find everything you need at the National Shooting Sports Foundation's huntandshoot.org. (NSSF)

Yea, but would you call cutting up a plant killing?

Interesting digression though. You consider someone dead if their heart stops beating or their brain activity seizes, I suppose? I do, I think most people do as well. But when is a plant dead? It has nor a neural system, nor a heart and the cells which make it up are still alive long after you pull out a carrot for example.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH I'm pretty sure by definition, plants are "alive".

  • @criticaboutvids

Not really. Does all your food require killing? I hope your diet exists of a little more than only meat. You know, a potato or a vegetable once in a while, some fruit, a bowl of cereal perhaps?

But not exactly my point. My point was he's not doing exactly what everyone's ancestor was doing.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Everything you eat requires killing..

  • @criticaboutvids

No, your ancestors took a fucking spear and went to hunt the bufallo, endangering their own life. They didn't shoot lethal projectiles from a safe distance, even though plenty of food was available that didn't require killing.

Don't act as if hunters are some sort of primitivists. That's laughable, your ancestors would laugh in your face for your way of hunting.

  • @bblack21 Alright then.

  • @criticaboutvids Well..., actually yes
