I am anxious to ride it, especially when walking past it and it's still closed.. I can't help but wonder... How long did it take the Philadelphia Toboggan Co. to build the first Flying Turns without the aid of computers and extreme engineering???

Six flags -Gurnee had a larger car version(5 rows of 4 people each) of this in the early 90's and it sucked, it was slow, loud and banged you everywhere, I believe it was all concrete and it was gone in only maybe 3 seasons in the area that is now southwest territory. it was cakked Rolling Thunder. This looks way better.

I can't believe how freaking high off the ground this thing is! And TWO lift hills? Are they crazy? My God, I can't wait.

I have to admit, this ride actually looks kind of scary.

Looks ready to me.

@DjGiantG I say, be glad its not the Son of Beast debacle.

that was really smart, thanks i've wanted to see what the ride really was without all the screaming, excited for it to opem, thanks!

I hope its coming releasing soon!!!! I have been on a metal type version of this ride but I bet this will be so much better! It will be worth the 6 year wait,,, Good Luck Knoebels!

wow kinda amazing how it works like that, i never thought a ride could go off tracks and get back on.
now if they could make it do a jump then that would be really impressive
You critics that are tired of waiting annoy me. How dare you suggest they should be embarrassed! I've been waiting for the return of the Flying Turns since 1967. You have NO IDEA what it's like to try to bring this ride back to reality with today's safety requirements. Thank you Mr. Knoebel, Mr. Fetterman and all the people working tirelessly to make it right. They aren't giving up and I for one am more than willing to wait until it's ready.

The mantra "Good things come to those who wait" comes to mind. To me this seems like a new breed of amusement ride. Let them work out the kinks and make it safe. Be happy they're not rushing it out the door and getting people hurt.
