  • Hi. I really like the music. I have been trying to look for it. Can you provide any more details on what album it from and who is the composer, singer etc.? Thanks.

  • This music composed by Pt. Birju Maharaj, sung by Smt. Vani Jairam. It is a private cassette or CD of Maharajji's releases. generally in any big music store in Delhi you can ask for Maharaj Ji cassatte and you will get it. in other citiies i do not know. or you can contact his center in Noida India KALA-ASHRAM or see on his site

  • what is the song being played?

  • as it is clearly mentioned it is

Tarana in Raag Bhairvi set to Taal Dhamar 14 beats

  • She's a very captivating and talented dancer with great stage presence.

  • she is not performing and dancing from last 3 years. i lost hope to see her on stage now.

  • For a foreigner she is really good! I expect Russians to be superb at all the academic subjects including the performing arts. They never disappoint me :-).

  • i love it

  • agreed with amarita100, the technique is mastered well, but there's a lack of subtlety, emphasized by too heavy and broad costume. Less is sometimes more.

  • Impressive. She Sorta Looks like my former dance teacher from this distance but for fair :)

  • @ashwani21 Thank you.
