What is the GRN (Global Resorts Network) scam all about? Global Resorts Network is a real company in the network marketing industry. They are based in Arizona. Global Resorts Network reps sell travel memberships for the Gold Crown Resort program.

The company is legit, but the claims Global Resorts Network reps often make to sell the Gold Crown Resort memberships are often not. They talk about automated systems and easy money. They often misrepresent the Gold Crown Resort product by claiming it is a U S based membership program.

Global Resorts Network founders looked to develop an opportunity in the home based travel industry a few years ago. They saw several programs selling travel agent programs and only one company offering a travel club membership program. Global Resorts Network (GRN) saw that the travel club membership offered by that organization lacked internet access to resorts and customer service among other things. The founders of Global Resorts Network saw that organization experience tremendous Success with what they saw as a very limited product.

Alfonso Morales and Charles Tomlin had experience in the timeshare industry and knew of companies offering better travel club memberships in the timeshare marketplace compared to the one membership offered through network marketing at the time. They contacted companies about the possibility of creating {Global Resorts Network} and selling a travel membership that would be 100% administered by one of the companies.

Global Resorts Network founders found some opposition in the industry. The memberships were being sold at resorts for thousands of dollars more than Morales and Tomlin wanted to sell them and the vacation club companies were concerned that promoting the memberships through Global Resorts Network at a lower price could hurt retail sales.

It is unknown how many companies were contacted by Alfonso Morales and Charles Tomlin about their MLM venture Global Resorts Network. Many speculated that they would have preferred to secure a U S Based and owned vacation club company to supply product for Global Resorts Network. The MLM industry is huge in the United States and they projected that most Global Resorts Members would reside in the United States. Morales and Tomlin were targeting members of the only home based business selling a vacation club membership and most of their members lived in the United States.
