The UP MedChoir performing Fabian Obispo's Chua-Ay during the Cork International Choral Festival in Ireland. For this performance the choir won the PEACE Trophy (Public Prize).
the stomps were like an onomatopoea of the "tongatong" ... it was supposed to be loud hehe.. i liked their interpretation of this pre-colonial chant(?)..
ah, the stomping indicates the pounding of rice(palay), right? because this is a rice pounding song, as of what i've known. pls correct me if it's wrong, hehe. too fast though, but good singing anyway. ^^
uo nga hehe..ingay.
