Dr Phyllis SantaMaria of Microfinance without Borders leads the Bronze Business Training at Jamii Bora microfinance in Soweto, E Nairobi. Here you see her working with the grassroots entrepreneurs and trainee trainers. Jamii Bora microfinance was started by Ingrid Munro and 50 beggars in Nov 1999 and now has 250,000 members throughout Kenya. Microfinance without Borders, a UK not-for-profit works with Jamii Bora to develop and deliver business training and train Kenyans to deliver the training. Phyllis interviews Joyce Wambuiri, Jamii Bora's most successful entrepreneur who has developed many businesses after starting from nothing in 2000 with her six children.
