thats my evo in this race... i left it in 5th gear and never downshifted... figured id let the subie drivers have one.... funny how the camera is in front so you never see the rainbow sticker on back of the stI

only things the sti have on the evo is, crash rating (only cause subie drivers suck), interior is nicer, and the diff switch.. oh yeah and the sound. other than that evos way better since the stock motor will actually hold 500 hp without breaking & the tranny too lol

You kids need to grow up. Both the STi and EVO are great cars. I own a WRX, and i my cousin owns an EVO 9 MR. I respect both the STi and EVO regardless of the rivalry . Both have potential, both are AWD, both are turbo. Whomever picks the Mitsubishi or Subaru, that's all personal preference, either way, they are identical.

"I.E V.6/V.7" fucking moron the funny ass part is the STi had more hurdles to jump to beat the EVO .. I cant believe the EVO guys making excuses.. STi has lower gears.. not meant for high speed acceleration.. and the AWD is all the time he has all the inertia of all the axles and all the wheels..

@WWEVOIX I highly doubt there are any 0 mile EVO 9's around for $50k, BRAND NEW EVO X MR's are around $40k+. I bought my 07 STi 7 months ago with 11,942 miles on it for $28k. So if you new that, you should've known that they are EVO X's not 9's.

mod for mod, Evos will always beat sti's, so the sti had to have more done, also the driver of the Evo might have not been brake boosting and the STi driver maybe was, i dunno, either way love both cars
