This short documentary started off as a graduate school project of Scribemedia's intern: Stuart Draper. He took a journalism class last semester where students were asked to pick a subject dealing with the current conflicts in the Middle East.

Stuart chose the looting of the Iraqi National Museum. The former director of the museum, Dr. Donny George, now lives on Long Island. He was kind enough to grant him an interview.

In the middle of a December snowstorm Stuart set up in Donny George's office and recorded a genuine and dynamic interview. In it we learn why Donny had to leave his country, his home, and his career.
We hope this video brings to light some of the details of this complex, historical, and still misunderstood event.

Thanks to Dr. George for giving us the opportunity to explore this important chapter of the war in Iraq.

  • This is the home to Assyrian artifacts and the world needs to know this.

Iraq's Museum is responsible to preserve the History of the indigenous people and its artifacts because this is Iraq's National treasure and Assyrian History.
