Upon exiting the station, the train immediately begins climbing the 188-foot (57 m) lift hill. Upon reaching the top, the train curves into the 171-foot (52 m) drop, entering the 140-foot (43 m) tall vertical loop. The train then turns a sharp left, entering two vertical loops and then climbing into the mid-course break run, followed by a zig-zag into the batwing (two connected diving loops, each is a mirror image of the other). Riders are photographed by the on-ride camera in the middle of this element. Riders then make a right turn and immediately enter the double-corkscrew, followed by flat track and two turns before hitting the final break run, then making a final turn before returning to the station.

Viper is the last of the three 7-looper roller coasters built by Arrow Dynamics to remain operating.

  • Hey man when you gonna go to cedar point or great adventure? You could put up a lot of vids if you went to CP.

  • @Bigmac11510 Hopefully I could get out to some east coast/midwest parks within the next year or two. I went to SF Great Adventure in 2009, so I'm not sure when I will visit again considering that it's across the country.

  • this actually looks like one of the better arrow rides. How does it ride in terms of rough/smoothness?

    great video by the way.

  • @rollercoasterfan97 To me, it's very smooth. Definitely re-rideable.

  • No Matter if this hurts or not' you guys are lucky to have this! It is the world's tallest and fastest looping roller coaster and it's the only Arrow Dynamics Mega-Looping Coaster left! Enjoy this ride cause it's special!

  • Is it me or does this look IMMENSELY like the ride in Final Destination 3.

  • sooo oslow...

  • Fun ride. Only complaint is its a bit bumpy. I remember getting on this and my ear bleeding when I got off its a rough ride. Trick is to keep your head back the entire time & try to keep it stiff & still so you don't get smashed around lol

  • Someone told me that coaster is extremely uncomfortable, but I never ridden it.

  • @fourquarter Six flags great adventure has removed 13 roller coasters, which Is equal to the amount they have in the park right now. Us at Six Flags Great America have lost 7 coasters.

  • Just lot smaller

  • It look like the demon from six flags great America

  • @IronwolfSFGAm1

There is also Anaconda at PKD and Vortex at PKI. Viper is the largest though.

  • Viper is work of art. Its beautiful. I love those Arrow sounds. Viper is one of the few last large Arrow loopers. Viper is joined by Vortex at PKI and Anaconda at PKD as the final 3.
