@TheOriginalAK47 The strings are making that sound. I actually hate the strings he uses, very thick and doesn't provide a lot of spin (hence his full western, etc.) The credit for the noise is definitely his power though. When he tries for a forehand winner, it's flat and fast.

Damn those strokes are solid. I love watching a good two-handed back hand. Need to figure out the exact mechanics of hitting one...

Don't get me wrong, Rafa is crushing the ball here but I think it's really loud because there's an echo where ever the guy who filmed this is standing. If not, all I can say is wow...
