How many full hacks have you ever played? You gotta switch it up from time to time. It was a pretty clever idea... well aside from Samus somehow managing to park it under a ledge underwater, but hey. It was originnally that the ship was in a different location, too. But he didn't want to totally redo the landing site when he learned moving the ship was bad.

Among other things it screws up the escape sequence. I've read that if you know precisely what you're doing (and this involves ASM work) that you can move it without anything going wrong. But typically it'll break something.

These words describe pretty much every SM hack, and that's the fun of it. Like HiroshiMizushima said, there's so many SM hacks out there, and the most memorable ones are usually those that go out of their way to change the look and design of Zebes
