wow an era never to return. Haiti as i used to see it when i was little waiting to go to jacmel for vacation. It used to be Green. I lived in carrefour and i remember looking at the mountains green now it's not the same. we need to start a reforestation project bad.

I have read most of these comments, but none addresses the why? and the how? of Haiti predicament nor to propose any solutions on what can be done collectively or individually to alleviate her pain and sorrow that she has endured for SOoooooo many years. We, Haitians, are the culprits for her destruction and we should be judged as such. To be continued....

what happen to this beautiful country.... it used to be the place to be back then.. now others view us as the poorest place ever..

...this is when Haiti had about 6 million people (today it's nearly 10 million)... even then, there was a deforestation problem. But at least Haiti wasn't that poor... Haiti was able to compete with D.R. and other latin American countries... But, today I don't know what has become of this beautiful place.... Everybody just left Haiti...
