Beginning the game... what has happened?! We end up in Dracula's castle, and for some reason, we have to go the Throne Room.

So yeah, I recommend getting the Merman soul, it's a pretty good one early in the game. The Tiny Devil soul is also pretty good, but I'm not gonna get it yet.

We face our first boss, the Creaking Skull. He's really easy though, whenever he's charging to fire his fireball, just duck down so it won't hit you. But if he's gonna hit you with that large bone, back off and wait untill he lets his guard down again. Overall, he's a really easy boss.

We obtain the Flying Armor soul, which is a must have to get further in the game.

  • i loved this game! personally i thought it was better than dawn of sorrow. it was just more fun not to mention the animation. keep up the walkthough!

  • Thanks! I haven't really played Dawn of Sorrow yet, but I'll get to it eventually.

  • the game is easy to hard. If i recall there are 4 or 5 endings. defult, when player dies in finaly battle, dies form belmont, dies in chaos room and final ending. btw you better get the 3 souls to begin to get to the final ending the bat soul and 2 others.

  • I was going to do that anyway, it's the Flame Demon, Giant Bat and Succubus soul.

  • GBA.

    Improve your grammar please.

Using 4 instead of for doesn't make you a cool kid. It's the other way around, really.

    smooth video

  • I hope these great Castlevania games make their way to either XBLA or Virtual Console (if they add Gameboy/DS to their catalogue), because I don't know where to buy them ... :(

  • Cool thing about this game is that depending on the souls you get here, some things in Dawn of Sorrow will change if you have the cart hooked to a DS.

They're more or less easter eggs, like some things in Yoko and Hammer's shops will appear and such~

  • circle of the moon is better
