Pokemon Emerald Cloning glitch

This is the pokemon emerald cloning glitch. Steps: Fly to the battle frontier, go to the battle tower, pick the pokemon you want to clone. Save the game in front of the pc, deposit the pokemon you want to clone into the pc, then save your game again. Withdraw the pokemon you just deposited, then talk to the lady on the far right. Pick open battle (it doesn't matter, but it's easier) Then agree to enter the match. When the screen pops up saying "There is a save file. Do you want to overwrite it?" Turn off your power. Turn your power back on and your pokemon should be cloned. If you turn your power off when it says saving don't turn the power off, then your pokemon will be deleted and your game could be messed up. This glitch is safe if you do it correctly. You can clone the same pokemon an infinite amount of times. You can also clone items too.

nope only on emerald. There is a GTS glitch on diamond and pearl, but it is VERY VERY hard to do.

Since Pokemon Emerald is a combo of Ruby and Sapphire will it work for Ruby and Sapphire or not??

no it won't because ruby and sapphire don't have the battle frontier.

haha this didnt work for me at first and i posted a comment asking for help .... turns out that i forgot to save for the second time after i deposited and withdrew the pokemon -_- anyways it worked like a charm after i actually WATCHED the video lol nah i just missed that little bit so thanks mate cloned my shiny golbat to test and omg i was scared lol but it all worked fine =)

I've done this many times and I always turn it off when it asks "Would you like to save?" after the pause. It works

@ctsconnor you can clone unlimited times and you can clone clones. Also make it hold good items so that gets cloned. They is a item cloning glitch though that doesn't involve doing that.
