  • this is awesome. instead of doing my homework i did this. for fun. what has the world come to? haha

  • @sillyx11 LOL! That is too wicked!!! I totally know what you mean... I had a paper due and then did this instead lol :")

  • I can't figure out the system when 0 is added to the middle of a number such as 1003x104. Methods seem inconsistent with the answer. 0 has strange properties. I guess that's why no one has a video with 0's in it.

  • Haha good question... I didn't think about that one. I can't even think about how to do it

  • Love it. My Algebra class with Jasmine loved the video and the music. She danced and danced....

  • For real... haha that is so funny! That is awesome

  • bad music

  • Hey! I don´t understand how you do that! I tried to do it with other numbers but it did not work! haha! please help I want to know how to do that!

    Btw really cool video!

  • i believe in 2012 now

  • This is vedic maths from india

  • (IV):... Number theory (see Javier Ruiz Garcia); Yupana (Inka calculating device); base 10 math as well as base 20; matrices; infinite series (tied into Javier Ruiz Garcia's work); binary code (used for recording language as well as numbers and mathematical information on the multi-level Khipu system)[very not-well-known precursor of computer language and computer science]; and perhaps much more to be discovered. The Europeans who invaded us destroyed or banned much of our knowledge. That's all.

  • (III): ...Calendrics (measured the cosmos and time through their precise calendar into the hundreds of millions of years from the present (At Oxwitik there is an exact date marking 400,000,000 years in the past [though, the Maya didn't necessarily think of time as linear]; possibly an early form of Calculus using matrices (see Roso de Luna); the nepohualtzintzin (an abacus on which one can perform basic calculation up to roots, powers, and integral and differential calculus operations)...

  • (II): For example, some indigenous achievements in Mathematics are: actually INVENTING Arithmetic and Mathematics independently from any other culture, race, civilization, or nation; inventing the concept of "zero", without which modern Mathematics could not exist (which was banned in parts of Europe in the 15th century); the most breakthroughs in astronomy for centuries; universities where Mathematics was studied; place values; numeral systems; operations of basic arithmetic; geometry...

  • Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble but the Maya had a base 20 mathematics not base 10 as we see in this video. I don't know where you got the idea that the Maya used lines to figure out this types of algorithm but it's wrong. You all must realize that the Maya were very adept mathematicians making a very precise calculation of the universe in the science of astronomy and calendrics.

  • wow esto es increible! pero que onda con tu cancion???? no va con el video amigo :/
