The Polson Logging Company #70 has its first full working pressure steam test. Second fire up in 30+ years. 10/30/2010.
At this point its down to installing the valve gear, the petticoat, the boiler jacketing and a few other odds and ends.

@kd7tqn That would make sense. The whistle sounds better on her than it does on the Climax. I was hoping she would get 5's beautiful Ashton whistle, but her current whistle is beautiful on her.

Looks a lot like the 5.
That air pump is a sound of beauty.
The Climax's whistle sounds great on her. Perfect Whistle for a logging Mikado.

Chris, actually that is the 70's original whistle. a baldwin 3 chime flat top. I put it on the climax a few years back to hear what it sounded like and alot liked it so it stayed.
