Tension remains high in parts of central province between members of vigilante groups and suspected Mungiki members. And following the circulation of leaflets warning of impending revenge attacks by the Mungiki in the region yesterday, Mungiki spokesman Njuguna Gitau today denied that his group was behind the incident, and instead accused unnamed politicians of circulating the leaflets to cause tension in the area.
it will take a long time before we can trust each other and see each other as kenyans. I was just voicing opinion. is it due to the fact that they are from ODM areas, they are not bothered abt beefing up security in mt kenya area? you saw what happened, when police shot people in kisumu during the post election violence, it was said that the main reason was cos the police chief there was kikuyu. i see the same thing happening here.

Karuitha, many communities have people with the name "o".Onyancha, for instance is a Kisii name,Luo's ,luhyas,Kisiis, maasai, kuria have such names. However, the last time i checked they were all Kenyans and have a right to work anywhere in the republic.

Same kind of mentality that fans the flames of tribalism in Kenya. You think someone has to be a Kikuyu from Kirinyaga to care about the people there? what happened to just being a Kenyan, doing your job without prejudice...give us a break with this kind of shallow thinking!!!

How come all the DCs and the police OCPD in that area all have names starting with O? Is it any wonder they seem not to be bothered by the atrocities affecting people there cos they dont come from the same community?
