  • And by 'mean' I mean 'hilarious and awesome'.

  • So far the meanest thing that has been said about Rebecca Watson is the bit about her being an Insane Clown Posse fan. Although I am sure that was a multi-layered joke.

  • I only recently found SGU, and had to stop after a few episodes. She's rude, uninteresting, and interrupts the podcast with unrelated comments and insults in an attempt to sound clever. She argues with the actual scientists, (is she even educated?) and when corrected, argues more. This goes against the mantra that skeptics back down when given proof of an error. She makes the whole movement look bad; it's people like her that make me stay distanced from an otherwise great movement.

  • These calendars are hot. I'd totally hit on you if I saw you in an elevator.

  • @aoakampfer Sadly true. Rebecca helped create this environment where woman would be treated that way at the conferences. And, then she started a campaign to decry women being "sexualized." It's not sexist to find her behavior atrocious. It's no different than finding hypocritical behavior by religious preachers unsettling.

  • @drunkdeaddude How can you not remember? Check the original video. She only talks about this whole thing for a few seconds. It's not buried anywhere. Yes, she talks about being "sexualized." No, it's not a fictional argument. Are you really so desperate to say "Well, I don't remember, therefore you don't have an argument."? Wow...Pathetic. Where is your honor?

  • Any feminist who loves insane clown posse (listen to the lyrics), allows t-shirt companies with degrading, not sexual, but degrading merchandise to advertise on her site, and sells calendars like this has no right to cause the division of elevatorgate and to call Richard Dawkins a hypocrite. I have no more respect for you Rebecca

  • Wow.

Hypocrisy: It's not just for Christians anymore.

  • @drunkdeaddude She actually said, in reference to the elevator man, "...it creeps me out and makes me uncomfortable when men sexualize me in that manner." The 'manner' she is referring to is the 'manner' in which she was approached by the elevator man. She explicitly used the term 'sexualize'. She did actually accuse him of sexualizing her, explicitly.

  • Are you f*cking kidding me?!!!!!!!!!!!
