Another long-lost cousin here! Elizabeth, have you tried Ancestry(dot) com? My branch came to America in 1750 after Culloden Moor, his name was Joseph, son of Michael Mor MacKinnon.
I need help. My husband is a MacKinnon descended from a branch that emmigrated to Prince Edward Island who now lives in USA.. His mother is Mackinnon who married a French Canadian so therefore has lost his incredible Scottish clan heritage. What resources can I access to help him understand this better?

Me girlfriend is a MacFhionghuin (MacKinnon), or at least on her father's side.
I'm a MacLeòid (MacLeod of Lewis) myself.
