Ok first of all U2 worked with Brian Eno who developed and crafted that sound. That Coldplay copy. Coldplay is Brian Eno's creation they are a copycat of U2 songs and all. Bono put it best. Before the Edge played music was different U2 changed music. Coldplay copy's that

U2 is one of the reasons music has become such a big part of my life. On the other hand, not being able to hear Coldplay is one of the only things I wouldn't mind about being deaf deaf.

To the person who wrote about Davide Gilmour: No one is saying Edge is the first guitarist to use delay. Edge used delay in a rhythmic sense and created a style and sound around it that no other guitarist has. Go spew your dumb comments somewhere else.
