Wash your chicken, rinse your chicken, and dry it. Then practice walking your chicken for the judge. Who knows if you will win a prize?

  • what do you do with your chicken after the show? I show horses right now, and I want to do something else too. I am looking into showing chickens because my Dad won't let me get a big animal for at the house, because I board my horse, and I have rabbits, but just curious on what is all involved in showing chickens... thanks!

  • I am so sorry that I didn't reply sooner, but I am very new to youtube and don't look at it very often. I didn't know you asked a question until today. :-(

About the chickens, we keep them as pets and eat their eggs. They have a little well-fenced area to protect them, and their eggs taste much better than store eggs. We have a couple of roosters too, but they are not necessary to get eggs. With roosters we then have fertile eggs that we have fun hatching in an incubator.
