A good, excellent or best nurse doesn't have anything to do of what nationality you are. It is a personal choice. We can not say that Filipino nurses are the best in the world because this is not really true. There are good and bad Filipino nurses too just like any other race. I am a Filipino nurse and I am proud to be one.I take pride of the care that I provide to my clients. It's the care that you give/ provide to your clients that matters the most. Just be proud to be a nurse!!!!

I am a Filipino nurse and I am very proud of who I am and what I have achieved.

There is no question that we are excellent nurses but we should avoid emphasizing that "we are the best" in the world. This statement will create conflict among other nationalities or groups.

If we are the best then what are they? Second best?

Although in reality "some" may not be excellent nurses, it is safe to say that we are ALL GOOD NURSES making a difference in our patient's lives. ALL not just Filipinos.

The Philipines is the 3rd largest english speaking country on earth,yes they have an accent like someone from Texas also has a accent .or Baastin .Boston! Thier studies are based on American studies for unirversities,,Thats why Thousands of the filipno nurses are also recruited to Canada,and The UK. . .

@totoynani143 not really. they only foucus on alert patients or patients with familys. othet than that you dont exist to filipinos nurses. they discriminate on Americans nurses and keep wages low and work demand high. they creat such a hard work that if they treated you "good" that means they treated many bad. your parents are lucky they had you to watch out for them. Or yoiu are lucky that you were alert during care. if not they just move on. its all a front......

@ejnjlj03 I have never met a filipino nurse that disrespected me,i wish that all of them would be filipino's.they r good to patients and they would never ask u if u can afford to stay in the fucking hospital, i had bad experience with fucking "American" like me.On behalf of my parents.
