INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3-D snowflake BELOW
-I forgot that I knew how to make these, and I like them, so I hope you like them just as much as I do =] Have a happy holidays and a happy new year and don't forget to post audition videos by Dec. 26th to the latest challenge video on our channel!
Steps:
1.) cut six pieces into symmetrical squares (use the ice cream cone folding method)
2.) take one of the folded triangles you have and cut 4 lines on one side of the triangle, making each additional line longer than the one before, do this again to the other side but it is very important to make sure that the lines you cut are separated by a margin of paper (6x)
3.) open up your already cut triangle, it should look like a diamond
4.) Start from the middle and overlap the two pieces and tape them together (it should look like a cannoli shell)
5.) Flip the diamond over and tape the next two pieces over
6.) Flip the diamond over again and tape the 3rd row of pieces over
7.) Flip the diamond over one last time to tape the 4th row pieces together
(do steps 3-7, 5 more times)
8.) Staple groups of three snowflakes together by a snowflake tail
7.) Staple the two groups of 3 snowflake tails together to form one giant snowflake
9.) Staple each outer snowflake layer to the one next to it.
I like 3d snowflakes but I am just using my brothers computer
