Ford has unveiled the 2009 Lincoln MKS full-size luxury sedan at the 2007 LA Auto Show. Seen earlier this morning, we now bring you live images of the new Lincoln flagship.
The 2009 Lincoln MKS is powered by Lincoln's new 3.7 liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Lincoln says that the MKS offers the power and torque of a V8 while delivering a fuel-economy that of a V6.
Pricing for the base 2009 Lincoln MKS starts at $37,985 while the fully loaded MKS will go for $48,120.

  • u should c me

    very cool T5

  • Ford Taurus and Mercury Milan rolls off the same line in Chicago as this overpriced rebadging. Don't be suprised to see sticker price of $50K+

  • True. Hey..., that's what keeps the manufactors making money! Lol..

  • I'll stay in the Ford family, But I would not buy a new one.

  • Yeah My Capri is a 1974 and that year they put HUGE heavy bumpers on the car and new emissions equipment and it make the car weak and slow so it burned twice as much fuel as before, My little car was rated at 85hp I took all that stuff off of it and added a header and re-tuned it, it now has around 110hp and gets very good gas mileage (2.0L 4 cyl) it can move with traffic at around 2500 rpm;) its a keeper:)

  • Then again the battery's that perform well and those motors are very expensive and the cost of a new crate Zetec engine from ford Motorsport was around $600! They would make SO much more in parts and upkeep of the electric engine that it would be worth it to sell cheap just to get a few thousand out on the roads;)

  • YEAH!

  • Well..., the times are changing. I guess, it's all about being down, u kno'?! It's just like, phone companies making portable TV's and, radios in their phones! Whom in the heck needs all of that? If you want to watch TV or, listen to your radio...., go home! SHM!

  • Yeah..., that's true. I truly believe if, American AutoMakers really wanted to be inovative, to be the competition...we could...but, by the way our goverment is..., I truly doubt if, they would allow us to make cars like that. It would be as if, we're jumping the gun and, cheating out the economy, u kno'?! I think, we definitely have those types of engines on stand by. We're just waiting for the green light. Til' then..., I guess, Uncle Sam's gotta' make money, somehow! Lol..

  • Lol..., yeah, true. You do have a point! Any engine working hard, reving over 3500RPM is definitely gonna' burn gas!
