A village music group singing a capella, and dancing - makes the hairs stand up on the back of our necks every time!

  • Thanks for that. There's another beautiful Madagascan song "Oay Lahy E" used for the end credits on the excellent Werner Herzog documentary - "Little Dieter Needs To Fly" (more hair-raising stuff!) Cheers.

  • I'll try and rent that, thanks for the tip.

  • Great! is there more?

  • I wish! I only had a compact digital camera, and that was all the memory available, one song... There was another guy there who filmed the whole 'set' on a proper camcorder, but we didn't exchange details :-( We have dreams of either tracking him down, or returning to Masoala with the full kit another time. We will never forget the experience.
