@Zay721 Well said.Confederates weren't these "racist monsters" Hollywood or modern history presents them as,at least that's my opinion.There were plenty of racists up in the north too.It was just that the South was more rich than the North while some of the northern states were having problems with unemployment and all that.

In the end the Confederates just wanted to seperate and the Union was like "OH NOOO!YOU ARE EVIL RACISTS!WE WILL STOP YOU!GO BLACKS,ATTACK FIRST!"
