@Jawbreaker424 That's true. Maury was one of the best country guitar solist ever even until today. He was the silent guy in the background who did uncredible contribution to the greatest songwriter ever lived. I'm sure Jim knew he was playing with god himselve.

Maury muehleisens contribution to every aspect of Jims music has never been truly acknowledged and recogniZed! Just sit down gather every Croce song you can get and listen. I truly believe without Maury Jims success before and after their death would have never been! My highest regards go equally to Jim and Maury! Investigate the music, I believe the unfortunate, little known truth of Maurys gift to Jims career is not known and appreciated by many. Remembet Maury too!!!!!

The so called other guy, for lack of better words in all Jims videos was Maury muehleisen, trained in classic piano, trained himself to play guitar at 17 and passed with Jim in natchitoches la plane crash along with four other men

He was the best..... He had the ability to write a song that took you there, and made you remember those tender moments.... He could sing with his heart and his music takes me back to when I fell in love for the first time!

I am so glad I grew up listening to his songs though I am from a 3rd world country in a small town where English isn't our language and english songs weren't commom. back then I remember listening to his songs like million times a day despite not understanding a word I broke the cassette tape and had to seal it with sellotape. That's how beautiful his songs are to me and to many from around the world.
