@bobshenix I couldn't agree more. Matt goes back to SG, and we all hope for Dave, Dave or Jack to come back to PJ. Then all will be right in the "grunge" world again lol.

Matt Cameron is a great drummer of his era... but his style REALLY doesn't fit Pearl Jam as well as Dave A's did, or even Jack Irons for that matter. One of the most obvious examples is his drumming on live versions of Even Flow.
Matt's hard pounding style and skill at playing odd time signatures makes him the perfect Soundgarden drummer. I hope and pray that this Soundgarden reunion is for real, and that they do another tour... they were great this past summer!!
