When you install these Kits, do you have to Decompress the Engine Still. What I mean is In the old days when you Forced air into a motor you had to decompress it. In most of the Magazines Im reading these days, they dont make any mention of decompression. whats the Story there?

I, Of Course, am totally Bias as I own an Alloytec 190 in a 06 VZ Calais. So im hoping for big things to come in the development area of Aftermarket Stuff and Tuning etc.

remember seeing a lot of VR / VS v8's with 185i Badge on back and now the Alloy tech V6 is producing 190 that's pretty frigging Good. I know the V8's have gone wild too, but still Its fuel economy's Awesome compared to the Old V8's. Also The alloytecs are in early stages as far as development goes. Wait another 2 or 3 years and we are going to see some amazing stuff from the Alloytecs. They are All Alloy, OHC , they are like Mini F1 Engines. Nah just kidding there, but they are high Tech

@hardstylez45 When your Talking Stock, a V6 Holden will beat or stay with a Its relative v8 version 'till about 80 to 100k, then the torque in a V8 struts its stuff as it punches through wind resistance. The V6 can wind out quicker, but without the torque it cant punch through the wind as well at high speeds. I must stress in this comparison both the Holden V6 and V8 must have standard everything, coz there's all sorts of ways to make anything do anything

@wopparulz~man there are so many kits available out there
-
alloytecs are one of the strongest and best designed block available for 6s. buletproof engineering its just a shame there is bugger al off the shelf bolt on bits for them, nice ride though
just wondering can these supoerchargers fit on to any alloytec engine in any model i got a VE SV6 and want to get something like this for it but not sure weather i should go twin turbo or super charger

Capa make a blower kit for the VE alloytec at the moment there is no raptor kit. If you want outright power I would go twin turbo or big single., blowers are a bit nicer on fuel but turbo's will always make more power.

The kits are around 7500 intercooled I think. We had the kit on a VN so it didn't cost too much to transfer it all over to the VZ.
