Four years ago Barack Obama promised to create a community college partnership program. As president he made sure online materials developed with federal funding would be free to students, invested $2 billion in grants to community colleges, and required those colleges to partner with an employer in the community.

Because of President Obama I was able to go to my technical college for free and am now working on an associates degree. I wouldn't have been able to afford college if it wasn't for his help. Thank you Mr. President.

I like this but I believe some educational institutes are abusing this plan for their own personal gain? this could be a job for someone honest to monitor these activities !!!

When you come to New Mexico, please visit Central New Mexico Community College in addition to our neighbor, the University of New Mexico. We have 30,000 students at CNM and we love you too!

The community college I attend got one of these grants and added a building and 2 or 3 other programs in the medical field. It has been a good thing.
