Maturo: "I might have tacos"

Despite an apology, state officials say they are "disgusted" by East Haven Mayor Joe Maturo's "taco" response to a question about the police profiling investigation and arrest of four officers.

@TheRubberMatch When you're the mayor, you're held to a higher standard and have to take responsibility for actions. This is an understatement for the police. I am latino, I am a police officer, and the last time I checked, Puerto Ricans don't make tacos; us Mexicans do.

That is soo true, you people complain about immigrants taking jobs and you lazy motherfuckers aren't capable of doing landscaping (REAL HARD WORK) and no I don't mean sitting at an office in front of a computer like a princess. @floridagraduatesigs so what are you suggesting that Republicans are racist? I'm a registered republican and I don't consider myself racist. Racism is not about political ideology it's about hate and ignorance. Was this mayor stupid for saying what he said yes absolutely but at the end of the day he is just a human who made a mistake albeit a really dumb one.

Instead of giving a professional respond to a simple questions, he is simply implying that the Latino community is a joke, so he is going to eat "taco" instead of trying to alleviate tension between the Latino community and the East Haven Police Department.

All I gotta say is fuck the police the abuses their power! Hence bullies with badges. Hopefully people realize that if that's his attitude, that he probably approved of the heavy handed tactics of the cops arrested or he turned a blind eye, still a showing approval. All four cops, the police chief, and this douche should be ousted. Hope he gets a prison term as well for conspiracy.
