I'm pretty sure that as a sophomore in high school, I'm already stressing about school more than I should and making year around school years would overwhelm students like crazy. We wouldn't have enough time to work, or do other activities.

Me as a student is already stressed over school and having it with no breaks will be no good. I also agree we would be like living in a box. Nothing to do but work. We are just kids, let us be kids.
