SARDINE FRENZY ON SOUTH AFRICAS EAST COAST
Every year, billions of sardines swim up the South African east coast during the annual sardine run. They create a frenzy as people and predators descend on them. At the centre of the action are a few dedicated net fishermen who compete against each other in an all out chase for the first sardines. By pulling the sardines to shore, they ensure that the public can share in the excitement of the sardine run. Oryx Multimedia joined them on the chase.
