Bilton Grange 1961-3, Part 1

During the 1950s, 60's and 70's, Joe Richardson (JBR), a master at Bilton Grange, took some home cine film of everyday life at the school, recording some special occasions as well. A few years ago, the films were sorted by Bill Newton who had the best of the footage converted to DVD. We are now pleased to make this available to a wider audience. We'd be delighted to hear from anyone who appears in the films, or who can share their memories of events depicted.

In this footage, we see boxing, carpentry, gymnastics, scouting, raft-making, and a range of winter activities.
