Iran Live news | 5 November 2009 | Iranian women challenging the Basiji militia | Polytechnic University Tehran.

Iranian protesters are vowing to continue their anti-government demonstrations into Wednesday night, despite violent crackdowns and arrests.

In this video a Iranian female student is challenging a big crowd of Basiji militia forces, blocking the road to the Polytechnic University student hall in central Tehran.
They are chanting : " The Russian Embassy is the nest of spies ". referring to the American Embassy takeover by Islamist Student following Khomeyni's orders.

There are confirmed report of more than 1000's arrest. detainees are normally transferred to many secret detention centre outside Tehran including the notorious Islamic regime prison Evin located in north of Tehran.
