  • WHY DON'T YOU JUST USE DRUM AGOG TO TRIGGER FROM YOUR RECORDED DRUMS SO HAVE HAVE BOTH? OR AT LEAST THE OPTION

  • @Poz42 Did that in the past. Bad rolls still get into the overheads. This way I was able to fix rolls with no overhead bleed. That was the idea. None of the tones in the view are on the album except snare in overheads.

  • It took me about 7mins+ to realise that you were the drummer for the band. Doh! hehe...

  • @thegreatbasher I'm the guitar player and engineer.

  • personally it doesn't make a difference when i mix whether it's midi data or not. a midi not is nice i guess, easy to quantize depending on the daw. personally, i'd just RATHER record the real drum sound because worst case scenario... i'll just replace the transients with samples. best case scenario, i get a GREAT snare or kick sound that i would have missed out on with triggers

  • Triggers are essential for just about any metal band.

When you try and play live in a band you will realize. Recording can be a bit different, but triggering isn't the source of all the lazy drumming its people who abuse triggering by fucking with their pedal tension

  • Zildjian crashes suck my cock.

  • idk man triggering just the bass drum is alright, but the whole kit is just overkill imo

  • @Poz42 i have all the drumagog samples and they all sound like fucking SHIT...audix d6, low cut filter, mid cut, boost 3700-8000khz, then add a lil bass, and bam, should sound pretty epic check out my song on my channel don't forgive me father

  • fucking love toontrack :p

  • how hard is it taking that kit to gigs ??

  • @damienro0 no prob man!

  • @guitarsbunch347 Dat was really useful man, thanks!!

  • @damienro0 triggering is an alternative way of recording drums. instead of actually capturing the sound of the drum with a microphone like you would a guitar or vocals, it just senses every time you hit the drum and it sends a midi signal to a drum machine or the computer and the drums sounds are created there... hope that helped

  • Pallets as acoustic diffusors??? Never saw something like this :)

  • Love me the KM84's. That far away, do you get more plosives from high hat air puffs?
