Who cares if we were abandoned for whatever reason. fuck it. people suck. life sucks..but you cant change it, or the past, so why keep bringing it up and talking about it?. take it from me.as long as you dont think about all the b.s. or focus on it youll be fine maybe depressed, but who isnt? the more u bring it up the more nights youll lie awake alone and sad. pink floyd said it best when he said he was COMFORTABLY NUMB!!!!! it beats the hell out of being full of BS emotions..

You want her to acknowledge her dad as if he did something grand? While I agree that her father shouldn't have stayed in an abusive relationship with her mother, I don't think it justifies abandoning his child. He should have maintained a relationship with his daughter. IF he cut off all contact with her, it IS child abandonment, & it isn't going to help her for you to invalidate her abandonment experience. Ending a marriage shouldn't require estranging your kids. They are 2 diff. relationships.
