  • R u friends with techno buffalo??? :P

  • Is this the same way to add more memory for the macbook pro 15 inch.

  • You forgot to say that you need to have the applications disk in before you hold down the D key.

  • *Gasp* Apple actually let you customize/upgrade something for once. You must feel so special:P

  • Apple Hardware Test is diags.efi file.

  • do macbook pros (the model shown here, not unibody) come standard with two 1.2 GB sticks or one 2.4 GB stick? Im asking because I want to know if I need to buy one 2048 MB module or two 2.0 GB modules to upgrade to 4GB.

i suppose I could just open it up and see, but im lazy.

I'm planning on buying from owc and they have 4 options as to what to buy.

  • I fucked up mine, people please be careful with the Unibodies. I was extremely cautious, had all the proper tools, and the latch holding the ram still broke on one side. Hoping Applecare will cover this, as the friggin thing is hooked to the logic board.

  • Youre info IS usefull, I just used it to upgrade my Macbook pro! But I didn't succeed to perform a test?...

  • question: how long does it take to run that hardware test?

  • thanks man...

hold the d button for 10 secs!!
