Photoshop CS3 Crashes on Snow Leopard while Changing Fonts

While trying to create a new balticavenue.net website, Photoshop CS3 crashes repeatedly on me while trying to change fonts, because Adobe won't support it on Snow Leopard. They claim they "tested" it, but I guess they didn't try using any fonts? CS3 is only 2 years old, and they want hundreds of dollars already for an upgrade!

yeah I like italianman I use the pc way more these days for photoshop. this guy is only mad at adobe ??????? What the hell ?? what about APPLE !!! CS3 works PERFECT on windows new OS...Apple changed to snow and screwed CS3 !!! and for the double whammy adobe wont fix...LOL

Alright, I admit it, I am a bit upset with Apple as well. Every day I find a new application I kinda forgot about that crashes or is not compatible with Snow Leopard - my MOTU audio driver flakes out on me often, my printer / scanner doesn't work at all, and worst of all - Quickbooks 2009!

yes i installed! and snow leopard recovery me over 10 GB! yes (10GB) But i have alot crashes after the installation. like safari, disk utility, safari flash,quick time x,iphoto and more!

i re-instal but the problem persist.

CS5 Crashes on my Mac 10.5.8 when I click on type tool.

just download and install CS4, works perfect.

I'm having the same problem right now and it's a corrupt font file. Try watching for a pattern - is it crashing on the same font each time?

And guess what :( I am using a quad core PC with vista and it works perfect with CS3 and windows 7 works great with it as well. Apple has joined the greed as well, ohh yes Micro shaft is worse, but I have to use what works and my apple tower is collecting dust. It is all sad all the way around the whole scope.

I couldn't agree with you more about Adobe's poor treatment of its customer base and greedy corporate policies. They have a monopoly on this product and its obvious how that has gone to their heads. Gimp works great for most of our needs. Greed is not good, and someday Adobe will pay the price.
