If you notice there is not a lot of lateral movement (side to side) in their fighting. Lateral movement allows more opportunity for opponent to Round house kick you. Backward movement allows the opponent more opportunity to bull rush you (ex. Wan Chai vs Mg Mg Gyi). Therefore either move forward or not too much at all. The only time moving around the ring a lot is good is if your opponents footwork sux and yours is good.
Btw if you need a second by second break down of the video I do those for fun. There's a lot in the videos they are doing besides just hitting and kicking. Not only are they doing several techniques at once but also capitalizing on each others change in foot steps/ footwork. This is the big difference between lethwei and western arts. They arent just looking for an opening and attacking there is also a perfect time to attack too. that is why it dangerous to circle a lethwei guy or Thai.
oh i didn't know that i just became obesse lethwei last month and found out about it 6 month ago,but i could tell by looking at him he been thru some wars in the ring and if he live in Florida i be taking pointers of him in how he trains ,btw what the age limit in the fights and who the best fighter now,i have so many question
uh that chubby guy is no ordinary guy. He was champ for a long time and got heavy in his latter career when he started aging and quit training seriously. Later he started heavy drinking and became alcoholic. You should see his other videos like Wan Chai vs Mg Mg yi and see how fast and accurate he was in his prme. Also Wan Chai fight #1 and #2 were showing his youth. If you watch Mike Tyson after his prime you would have thought nothing special of him either.
cool when i can see it ?

Unfortunate for Wan Chai flying knee by Lone Chaw is the perfect counter to bull rush.
