Does using a Sketchup file mean that ESRI will support the exchange between Sketchup and ArcGIS again? That would be very helpful since it was really a pity that support of the older Sketchup plugin had been discontinued.

@gisbris The SketchUp plugin is no longer supported. At ArcGIS 10 we have a new geoprocessing tool: Multipatch to COLLADA. So workflow becomes "select multipatch, export to DAE (COLLADA), import/edit in SketchUp, save the updated DAE/SKP file, use 3D editing environment to single-click-replace multipatch geometry in the geodatabase".
