Snow Joe 622 Ultra vs DC Blizzard 2010.2

We got a few more inches from the Blizzard last night into today. After Snowmageddon (I prefer SNOWMG!!!) last week, I purchased Amazon Prime on Sunday night and had the Snow Joe 622U1 overnighted to me. It arrived here Tuesday afternoon - the poor FedEx guy had to come around to the other neighborhood and carry this big old box in order to get this to me!

I'm glad he did. It's Wednesday and this thing just kicked some serious blizzard ass. I don't know how long it will last, but it's done everything I needed it to!

Update: Would not buy this again. Spend a few more bucks on something higher quality. The plastic components inside this thing are brittle and will break because of the temperatures.

@crazieboi00 It's a pretty have duty cord from Home Depot. Maybe 100' ft and a red/black cord. It's made to carry extra amps. I'll see if I can find more info from the cord for you.

@crazieboi00 Buy the heaviest cord you can find and longer then you need and you shouldn't hook multiple cords together, most likely 12 gauge will be the heaviest you'll find manufactured up to 100 feet long, that's the same gauge wire that's in the walls of your house.

You could make your own cord up if you need longer, buy the wire by the foot and install the ends yourself, but if you go this route you might want to go to a 10 or 8 gauge wire.

Oh! thanks a lot. i just placed the order for 12 guage extension cord 100ft from amazon.com. Hopefully, that extension should be in good quality. it says OSHA approved. thanks again.

@chrisdown123 funny comment :) I got a snow Joe!!! I whent and got a small generator just incase the power whent out. I still kept my gas 4stroke 19 hp 32" monster snow blower I dearly love and babied so much.
