Earliest available footage of Soundgarden from the "Seattle Public Access TV 1986" KCMU Benefit @The
Central, Seattle, WA.
Very rare, the audio is really bad and I can't identify the song being played. Also, I believe that's Scott Sundquist on drums (before Matt Cameron joined the band)

  • nice. the first song sounds like the main riff from hendrix' "can you see me?" ... after that though ... i have no idea but it sounds awesome - something the white stripes would've liked to have written ... '86 you say huh? hard to believe that there was good guitar rock music being performed at that time when hairbands and electric blues were "in" .... awesome Sound Garden - lol

  • Holy shit this is badass. I wasnt born for another year later. I wish there was a better recording of this song.

  • is that chris cornell singing and playing guitar or is that soundgarden's regular guitarist. they're so young i can't tell.

  • Amazing! Soundgarden was one of the worlds best bands.
