Mad Piloting Landing Skills Through Extremely Windy Weather

Extremely high winds in northern Spain tested the skills of pilots as they landed in extreme conditions that swayed planes and frightened passengers.

Video footage captured planes landing at Bilbao's Loiu Airport in sweeping winds which forced some pilots to abort the landing process. The Basque country registered winds of over 81 miles per hour (130 kilometers) . The State Meteorological Agency said winds reached up to 40 miles per hour (65 kilometers) at Loiu Airport, the daily Diario Vasco reported. AENA, the airport authority said high winds had affected air travel resulting in four aircraft being re-routed to different airports. Bilbao's airport, however, remained open throughout the bad weather. There were no cancellations but the conditions forced pilots to use their skills.

just saw this video on yahoo, but they kept cutting right when the plane was about to land to show a very ugly and annoying lady. No wonder why they are not growing and their stock price is going down, they sure know how to scare viewers

The comment about the stock price going down was about the website/ corporation "yahoo". It had nothing to do with your country or any other country. It would appear that you have victimized yourself because of your insecurities.

I am fed up of citizens of the United Stated of America criticizing other countries just because the sake of it. What does a video of a plane has to see with stock prices? And all the votes the comment has on its favour come from other Northamericans with the same style of thinking... I am against my country belonging to Nato, I would put away all the Northamerican bases in Spain, ignorant people... But nobody can say anything bad about USA, of course!

Better them in that plane then me but, I bet that was one hell of a ride. He did stick it down though so I would say he was one of the better pilots,,cross wind of 81mph. excellent job!
